Description
Chico State Basic Needs Project provides supplemental food, meals, emergency grants, housing, referral services, financial wellness training, and more for students experiencing food insecurity, hunger, displacement, homelessness, and poverty. Research shows 50% of Chico State students (nearly 8,000 students) experience food insecurity. This is a major barrier to student success.
We are seeing a greater need than ever before! This year we expect to giveaway 250,000 pounds in supplemental food to students, that's a 25% increase from last year.
The Basic Needs Project is powered by you!
When you support the Basic Needs Project, you're making a difference in the lives of many Chico State students and joining a tradition of giving back.
