As Chico State’s student retention and success center for
Latine/x students, El Centro Resource Center seeks to embody the promise of
Chico State’s Hispanic Serving Institution designation in a tangible,
impactful, and enduring manner. El Centro's mission is to create an empowering
and inclusive environment that honors Latine/x heritage, cultivates leadership,
and eradicates barriers that hinder individuals from reaching their full
potential.
